Unknown: Period (Period-date table)

Cause

You’ll see this error message when the period structure in TriFact365 does not match the one in Exact Online. TriFact365 uses 12 periods by default. If your Exact Online administration uses quarterly accounting with 4 periods, this will cause an error.

Solution

This can be resolved by setting Period-Date Check to mandatory in the Exact Online settings. To do this, click the administration in the top-left corner and go to Company name → Settings → Financial → Dates → Period-Date Check

Note!

One consequence of setting Period-Date Check to Mandatory is that entries will be assigned to the correct period based on the invoice date. This means that if you receive an invoice in April that relates to March, it will be posted in April based on the invoice date.
