This article provides an overview of the TriFact365 settings available for the AFAS link.

Additional Settings in AFAS

To create journal entries, a counter must be configured for the relevant journals in AFAS. Read here how to set this up.
To create customers and/or suppliers in TriFact365, automatic numbering must be configured in AFAS. Read here how to set this up.

The PDF of the invoice is not automatically sent along to AFAS. Additional settings are required:

My period date table for a new AFAS administration is missing in TriFact365. What should I do?

For a new, empty administration in AFAS, the period date table may not be imported, which means the periods are not available correctly.

Create a single entry in the administration. This will allow the period date table to be imported correctly.

Open the administration in AFAS.
Create a journal entry:
1. Use the profit and loss account.
2. Enter an amount of €1.
Save the entry.
Check whether the period date table is now imported correctly.

After completing these steps, the table should be visible and working correctly.

I have multiple AFAS environments. Can I add administrations from another environment?

If you want to add administrations from a different AFAS environment, you need to create a separate Link for each environment.
